Usse - "The Sleeping Beauty Castle" Church at Usse Caves at Usse - They were big on wax models! The "Sleeping Beauty Tower" Lunch at Villandry took us back to where we stayed on our Honeymoon. Villandry is most famous for its gardens (although the insides were pretty good too) The kid's favourate was the maze Famous for fountains too ... Gold leaf ceiling Huge gardens at Chenonceau ... the Chateau famous for being built over the water Once again, the boys favourate was the maze Chenonceau Just one of the 244 fireplaces. Automatic rotisserie. A weight connected to the rope hangs out the window, and as it drops, it turns the skewers around. Ceilings of large beams to hold up next floor. Best way to see the Liore? Azay-le-Rideau Catching falling leaves. Fairly large fireplaces in this area ... Anne wants this in our new house ... and the wood panelling Sound and light show was inside this time.
