View from main bedroom window - there was a better one upstairs, but the room hadn't been renovated Fountain on left dated from 1700's and comes from a spring. It oveflows into old Roman washbasin (lavoir) on the right where some locals still wash their clothes. When they wash on the angled stone surface on the edge, the water runs off into a drain around the inside, and off to somewhere else, keeping the water cleaner. For some reason, Anne preferred the washing machine inside... Off to see the Rugby - there were about 30 Aussie jumpers there - Ben won the 'pick the number of Aussie outfit' guess.
